History
Millcreek of Arkansas, a subsidiary of Millcreek of Mississippi was founded
in 1988, in response to the overwhelming need for mental health as well as
non traditional educational services for emotionally disturbed and
developmentally disabled children and adolescents in Arkansas. Since that
time, it has provided quality care for the children of Arkansas, serving 61
developmentally disabled residents in our ICF/MR program and 61 emotionally
disturbed in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
Millcreek is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Youth and Family Centered Services, Inc.

Populations Served
Millcreek is a privately licensed Intermediate Care Facility-Mental
Retardation, Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility and Special
Education setting.
Types of Programs
ICF
- MR Treatment Facility - This program serves children ages 5-18 from
all across the State of Arkansas. Our children have a dual diagnosis,
which includes mental retardation along with an emotional or behavioral
disturbance.
Psychiatric Treatment Facility - This program is a highly structured therapeutic
environment for children and adolescents ages 6-18 who are in need of
long term, intensive services to effectively treat severe emotional and
behavioral disturbances. Most individuals are referred following the receipt
of outpatient treatment or stabilization in an acute care setting.
